1. HOW DO I MINE?
To start mining you'll need two things, a mining tool and mining tool batteries. Wait, You just can't mine anywhere. Go to your race's primary portal and click Crag mine. You have to remember two things before you start mining. One is you can only mine near your race's Crag mine portal if your race didn't win the Chip war for that certain time frame eg. 5am-12, 1pm-7pm, or 8pm-4am and you don't have a holy metal scanner which signifies your participation during the Chip war. The second thing to remember is that you cannot drop nor trade ores. You can only sell them or Process them. So check if you have adequate space in your inventory before leaving your character for the whole night to mine.
2. WHY DO I NEED TO MINE?
If your character is still between level 30 and 40, you'll notice that money won't come your way as easily as those 40+ characters. HP potions are slowly depleting your money since you'll have to grind your PT (skill points) to it's maximum level cap before leveling. The way I keep my character alive is to mine when I'm not doing anything and process the ores hoping for an expensive talic or gems to pop up. I know processing ores is expensive but after you've processed the ores you can click the dispose button to convert anything processed into gold. This would lessen the cost of processing. Talic and gem price vary in different servers. Low populated servers makes the talic and gem price low and opposite for the over crowded servers.
Also keep in mind that prices of gems and talics would be based on your race's performance during the chip wars. If your race wins the war a lot, giving you the right to mine in the Core( x12 the normal mining speed) then your race will have a lot more talics to sell. Since everyone has a talic to sell the price will eventually go down.
3. ARE THERE ELEMENTAL BULLETS AND ARROWS?
There are elemental bullets and arrows sold at the expensive supply merchant. It costs a lot! A better alternative to acquiring these elemental bullets and arrows are through crafting. Specialist with a 99/99 PT ammo crafting can easily make these. Just be sure to have have a friend whose a specialist.
4. WHY CANT I FIRE MY CHAIN ROCKET?
The accrettian striker who has the chain rocket ability can only fire this when in siege mode using a level 40 or 50 (red) siege kit.
5. HOW TO MAKE MONEY THROUGH MINING?
Money can easily be gained through processing ores especially when the processed ores gives out expensive talics and high quality gems. Even if no talics or gems are produced , you can still sell, dispose, or use as manufacturing materials(if your a specialist) the processed ores.
6. HOW DO I LEVEL MY PT PROPERLY?
Level 20+ characters need to level their PT(skill points) properly since if you'll do it later it would be too late. When reaching level 30 you'll be given a promotion and making the highest possible PT point you'll gain from a monster to 100 points. This point will only be gained from monsters 5 levels or above your level. So don't be too eager to level up before your PT reaches the maximum cap.

8. HOW DO I LEVEL QUICKLY?
Leveling quickly isn't advisable if you haven't maxed out your PT for that certain level but if you still want to there are several ways to do so. You can join a party with high level characters, just remember that you need to be somewhere inside the 10 level gap meaning that if your party has the average level of 40 then you should at least be level 31-39. You can also finish the quest given to you since they give out an adequate amount of experience when you complete them. Mass damage spells or weapons can also level your character quickly. Gather a lot of monsters and finish them off all at once.
9. WHAT IS CHIP WARS?
Chip wars is the time when all three races compete for the mining rights in the core crag mine. Basically, the race who has the last hit on another race's chip makes that certain race the winner. All three race's have a control chip near their crag mines portal. Each chip restarts it's HP every 12 midnight. Chip wars happens three times a day (5am , 1pm, and 9pm). When the chip war ends each race's chip retains their HP from when the war ended unless your own chip was the one thats been destroyed making it regain full HP at the start of the next war. If your race's chip is destroyed you'll be prompted with a "battle lose" message. If your race failed to destroy another race's chip and still have your own chip intact then you'll be prompted with a "battle failure" message. If your race destroys either of the two other race's chip then a "battle win" message appears. When the Chip bearer( the person who has last hit on the chip) delivers the chip to the core their mining time is extended. If the winner race fails to defend the halo stone keeper at the end of the chip war, then the war is declared as a draw.
10. WHY DO I NEED TO PROCESS ORES?
Processing ores gives you the chance to obtain talics, gems, and crafting materials. Processed ores can also be disposed after processing and be converted to gold. Make sure to exchange your gold to your race's currency only when the tax is low to have a better exchange rate.
11. WHAT ARE THE USES OF PROCESSED ORES?
Crafting material for the specialist class. Black processed ores are used for crafting melee weapon and shoes. Green processed ores are used for crafting bows and gloves. Yellow processed ores are used for crafting shields, launchers, and upper armor. Red processed ores are used for crafting firearms and helmets. Blue processed ores are used for crafting Lower armor and staffs.
12. WHY CAN'T I USE COMPOUND SIEGE ANYMORE?
Compound siege can only be used with level 30 siege kits. I'm not sure if it can be used with level 50 red siege kits since I haven't tried it yet. This still needs to be verified.
13. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN USING UNMANNED MINING TOOL AND MANUAL MINING?
Using unmanned mining tools keeps your character free from mining manually. Your character still needs to be online for the UMTs to work though. The biggest difference which almost everyone fails to see is that mining manually is twice as fast as using UMTs.
14. HOW DO YOU DETERMINE A MONSTER'S ELEMENTAL WEAKNESS?
When you click a monster a status bar appears. The bar also contains information about the monsters element, type, and debuffs it can cast. When the monster displays no element or displays the neutral icon this means that the monster has no elemental weakness.
15. WHAT ELEMENT SHOULD I USE?
Fire element is weak against Water. Water element is weak against Wind. Wind Element is weak against Earth. Earth element is weak against Fire. This is the elemental cycle.
16. WILL UNMANNED MINING TOOLS OR UMTS BE STILL MINING WHEN I LOGOUT?
No they won't. UMTs will stop mining when you log out and the batteries you've placed in the UMTs will return to your inventory.
17. WHAT ARE RARE ORES FOR?
Rare ores are processed into 1 level 1 shining gem. 5 level 1 shining gems can be processed into 1 level 2 shining gem. 5 level 2 shining gems can be processed into 1 level 3 shining gem.
Level 1 shining gems can be traded with the alien near the ore vendor for a small gift box.
Level 2 shining gems can be traded with the alien near the ore vendor for a medium gift box.
Level 3 shining gems can be traded with the alien near the ore vendor for a Large gift box.
The thing about gift boxes are sometimes the produce nothing when opened and sometimes they produce an expensive item. The things I got when I opened small gift boxes are 10 chaos pots, Low grade talic master, Random intense 35 or normal 40 weapon, 10 +3 ores, 10 cure chargers, 10 overdrive chargers, and 10 defense chargers.
The things I got when I opened medium gift boxes are random normal 45 weapon or Intense 40 weapon, medium grade talic masters, and I forgot the other things I got. >_<
18. WHAT ARE TYPE A WEAPONS?
Type A weapons are ability enhanced weapons. These weapons have purple text titles.
19. WHAT ARE TYPE B WEAPONS OR ARMORS?
These are intense weapons or armors. Their attack or defense ability are comparable to 2 or 3 level higher weapons or armors. These items have Yellow text titles.
20. WHAT ARE TYPE C WEAPONS OR ARMORS?
These are weapons or armors that obtained by combining A type weapons or armors and B type weapons or armors. Example: Intense bone knife + Wind bone knife + Other minor requirements = Intense wind bone knife. These items have orange text titles.
21. HOW TO MAKE TYPE C WEAPON AND ARMORS?
Type C weapons or armors can be created through the hero NPC by combining type A and C items of the same kind + a catalyst requirement. Combining a type C item is by chance. Sometimes it fails and sometimes succeeds. If it does succeed you MAY be rewarded with a bonus level requirement decrease.
22. WHAT ARE MAUS?
MAUs or Mobile Armor Units are gigantic robots used by bellato engineers as weapons against the other race. Bellato engineers can obtain these robots by purchasing them on their shops. RMAUs or Red MAUs are the highest level robots the bellato can pilot.
23. WHAT ARE ANIMUS?
Animus are summoned beings used by the Corites to fight along side them. These creatures vary in ability. Some animus are used for healing, some for stunning, and some for attacking. Similarly, while the Accretians have their Red siege kits and bellatos have their Red MAU, The Corites can also summon Red Isis.
24. WHAT ARE TALICS?
Talics are minerals obtained from processing ores or dropped by certain monsters. These minerals have different abilities which can be inserted into armors or weapons depending on their abilities. Example. Keen talics can be inserted into weapons to increase their attack damage while Favor talics can be inserted into armors to increase their defense power.
25. HOW DO WE USE TALICS?
Talics are used through items called upgraders which can be purchased in any tool shops. These upgraders when right clicked will open a window where you can place the item to be upgraded with a talic and a talic slot. There are also gem slots available which can boost the chance of upgrading. Gems are not a requirement when upgrading but is highly advisable you use them when doing so.
26. HOW DO I UPGRADE WEAPONS AND ARMORS?
Upgrading armors and weapons require an upgrader and a talic. refer to the above question.
27. HOW DO I USE BLUE POWDER OR CHAT TO EVERYONE?
When in the game press enter to activate the chat bar. type in "/all"and your message. after doing so, 1 blue powder will be removed from your inventory. If you don't have a blue powder then you'll be prompted with an error message.
28. HOW DO I USE MAP CHAT AND TRADE CHAT?
When in the game press enter to activate the chat bar. type in "/map" for map chat or "/Sell" or "/Buy" trade chat followed by your message. Using map chat is free but trade chat will cost you 1000 worth of your race money.
29. HOW CAN I CHAT PROPERLY BY DISABLING OTHER CHAT MESSAGES?
You can disable other chat messages by pressing T and click the round dot at the lower left part of your chat box. After clicking you'll see messages with a check box. Disable those messages you don't want to see by unchecking the boxes.
30. CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW TO USE THE STORAGE?
Your storage can be found in the CoinExchange NPC at your race's primary headquarters. To setup a storage you'll need 100k of your race's money. This will provide you with 1 bag capacity storage and when expanding the storage you'll need to pay a 500k fee.
31. HOW CAN I USE UMTS OR UNMANNED MINING TOOLS?
First you need to buy a UMT and its own battery. Go to the mining area and right click the UMT. This will setup the UMT for about 2 seconds and it will prompt you for batteries and what ores you'd like to mine. Choose the ore type and place in the UMT's batteries. When you want to disable the UMT, all you need to do is to right click the activated UMT in your inventory and click "get UMT". This will automatically remove the UMT from the mine field and in to your inventory no matter where you are.
32. CAN YOU EXPLAIN MORE ABOUT CW OR CHIPWARS?
Chip wars or CW is all about mining rights. When Chip wars starts you are given a mission to acquire a holy metal scanner or HMS, destroy either of the two chips thats not your own, and defend your own chip. Acquiring a metal scanner during the Chip wars and winning the war at the same time will complete this mission. You'll be given 50k + 2k and the mining rights but if your race won the war and you were not able to acquire an HMS then you won't be given the right to mine but you'll still have the racial buffs. Again, only the race that won the war and acquired an HMS has the right to mine in the core.
33. HOW CAN I MINE IN THE CORE?
Acquire a holy metal scanner dropped by the chip guards DURING the war's time span and win the war.
34. WHAT IS A HALO STONE KEEPER?
When your race wins the war the chip bearer who got the last hit on the other race's chip will have to transport the chip to the core to expand your own chip's HP. If the chip bearer fails to deliver the control chip then your chip's HP won't be extended. After ten minutes a weak Halo Stone keeper will appear which you'll need to defend for a certain time to guarantee your race's victory. The Halo Stone Keepers life will reflect that of your own race's chip and how long you can mine in the core. The halo stone keeper's role is simple, it will protect the the winning race whose mining in the core.
35. WHEN CAN I JOIN THE CHIPWARS?

36. HOW DO YOU PLAYER KILL OR PK THE SAME RACE?
Same race PK is possible with chaos potions. This potions can be bought at your race's hero NPC.
37. WHAT ARE RAIDERS?
Raiders are warriors from another race going in to your territory with the sole purpose of killing everyone. By PKing another race they obtain CP or contribution points. Your rank in your race is based on the CP you accumulated.
38. WHAT ARE REPELLERS?
Repellers are your own race's warriors who drives raiders.
39. WHAT ARE ARCHONS?
Every race in each server has to have an archon. These archons are nominated and voted by the populace and will have the responsibility in guiding the entire race.
40. HOW CAN I DISABLE THE CLIENT STARTUP MUSIC?
Go to your RF online directory. Locate the launcher setting file and open it. scroll down and you'll see something like this "Bgm0=".\\Snd\\Bgm\\SOMESONG.mp3". change the SOMESONG.mp3 to SOMESONGxxx.mp3. there you have it.
41. HOW CAN I SELL MY ITEMS?
Find a shop NPC click trade and click the SELL tab. Drag all the items or loots you'll want to sell.
42. HOW DO I USE THE UTS OR UNIVERSAL TRADING SYSTEM?
Using the UTS is simple. You'll need to go to the area where your race's UTS is located and click it. It will then display a menu where you can choose to register an item (SELL) or Purchase an item (BUY). When looking for an item to purchase the UTS will display a blank window and at the upper right you'll see a query bar. Choose the category of items you want to be displayed example ( WEAPONS - FIRE ARMS - LVL 31-40 - PRICE ASCENDING) and click search. If there are no items found the UTS will inform you.
43. WHAT ARE CONTRIBUTION POINTS?
These are points which determines your rank in your specific race. You can gain CPs by killing other race players or participating and winning the chip war.
44. HOW CAN I USE SIEGE KITS?
To use a siege kit one must have the adequate level to do so. When you are, all you need to do is equip a launcher and right click on the siege kit.
45. WHY CANT I EQUIP LEVEL 30+ GRENADE LAUNCHERS?
Level 30+ grenade launchers can only be used by the accretian specialist class. Non specialist can only equip level 1 grenade launchers.
46. WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL THE CHIPWARS START?
5am - 1pm - 9pm. Based on the RFO PH.
47. HOW COME SOME CHIPS HAVE LOWER HIT POINTS THAN THE OTHER CHIPS?
At 12 midnight all chips will regain 100% HP. Every time the chip takes damage during the time span of the chip wars, it's HP will remain as it is until it is destroyed or restarted at 12mn.
48. WHAT ARE INTENSE ARMORS AND WEAPONS?
Intense armors or weapons are marked by yellow text and is a level higher than it's supposed to be giving it more defense if its an armor or more attack damage if it is a weapon.
49. WHY ARE SOME WEAPONS PURPLE OR YELLOW?
Yellow weapons are Intense weapons or Type B weapons. Purple weapons are Ability weapon or Type B weapons.
50. WHERE CAN I DISTRIBUTE MY STATS IN RF?
Unlike other MMORPGs, RF online doesn't need you to distribute skill points or ability points. You can only increase your skills and abilities by using them or grinding them. Example is each time you use a melee weapon, the melee skill increases and each time you use a range weapon the range skill increases. The highest level you can complete these skills are 99/99.
51. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ALIEN DOING NEAR THE ORE REFINER?
This alien is responsible for exchanging your shining gems made from rare ores into gift boxes.
52. WHAT ARE THESE DOTS IN THE MONSTER'S STATUS BAR FOR?
These dots will determine the gap the monster's level are from your own. 7 dots would mean that the monster is 5 or more levels above you. 6 dots would mean that the monster is 4 levels above you. 5 dots would mean that the monster is 3 levels above you. 4 dots would mean that the monster is 2 levels above you. 3 dots would mean that the monster is at par with your level. 2 dots mean the monster is 1 level below you. And lastly, 1 dot means the monster is 2 levels below you.
53. WHY ARE SOME CHARACTERS GREEN?
Players who are hit by a nuclear bomb will turn green. This will halve their Max HP, FP, SP and damage. Nukes are fired only during the chip wars at the crag mines.

Farming is when your character is making money through monster's loots.

58. WHAT IS CRAFTING?
Crafting is an skill learned only by the specialist class. A specialist needs only a crafting tool and some materials to manufacture weapons, armors, and bullets. The chances of making these items depends on the level of the item being manufactured and the skill level of your crafter.
59. WILL MY LEVEL INFLUENCE MY CRAFTING CHANCES?
No it won't.
60. HOW CAN I REPORT CHAOS POT ABUSERS?
You can mail your race's archon or file a complain ticket to whoever is hosting your rf online.
61. WHAT ARE GUARD TOWERS?
Guard towers are another class specific ability only used by the specialist. Guard towers are sold at tool shops. Light guard towers require 2 rubies and 2 obsidians. Normal guard towers require 3 rubies and 3 obsidians to setup. Advance guard towers require 2 light rubies and 2 lightning obsidians. These gems can be bought at the UTS or you can kill monsters at the crag mines.
62. HOW CAN I SETUP MY GUARD TOWER?
You will only need to right click on the guard tower to set it up and wait for 5 minutes.
63. WHAT'S THE USE OF TAXES?
Taxes determines how costly the items are sold at your race's NPC. The more players exchange currency to gold the more the tax decreases. Taxes are calculated everyday.
